Introducing Denim Silk, a timeless, innovative, and lightweight fabric that offers an authentic and unique touch. It is the result of a rare collaboration between the selvedge denim experts of the Bingo Region in Japan and Loro Piana’s innovative artisans in Piedmont, Italy.

A meticulous care, incredible craftsmanship

Denim Silk is a unique combination of indigo-dyed cotton and delicate grey silk. It can only be woven very slowly, tended by expert technicians on vintage looms rarely used in the textile industry today. It takes one day to produce very few metres. What emerges is a light raw denim fabric, ideal for the spring and summer season.

The merging of silk and denim

Denim Silk is an exceptional blend of cotton denim and silk. To achieve this delicate mix of yarns, the fabric is woven very slowly, silk is used in the weft and combined with indigo cotton in the warp, creating a sophisticated fabric with a contemporary look.
