Meticulous preparations

With expert skill, Loro Piana’s artisans take the unused Cashmere garments back to their almost raw state, carefully cutting them, removing buttons and labels, and breaking the cut pieces down to the fibre.

A masterful blend

The repurposed Cashmere is then twisted with virgin Cashmere fibres to create a delicate and refined yarn with a richly blended colour and a touch of sheen.

Artisanal finishings

Each garment is hand-finished by the Maison’s craftspeople using time-honoured savoir-faire – for ultimate quality in every thread and stitch.

A revived fibre with endless possibility

Loro Re-Cashmere lends a new lease of life to existing Cashmere fibres while minimising surplus fabric. The resulting pieces have a unique mélange look and a character of their own.
